This is our concluding event relating to addressing Cumulative Neglect in the North East. This event aims to have multi-agency conversations across all three CPC areas to consider :

How we implement the learning from local case reviews relating to cumulative neglect carried out in Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Moray.

How we address the barriers to doing this

How we measure that our interventions have made a difference to children and families

This is a free multi-agency event for the children's services workforce who may be required to participate in an IRD themselves or need to know about this key component procedure in child protection.  This is suitable for Teachers, Social Workers, Police, GPs, Health Visitors, School Nurses, Students and all interested professionals working in Aberdeen City.

Child Protection Partnership

The NESCPC disaggregated in March 2013 and since that time 3 Local Authority area child protection committee structures have been in place: , Moray Child Protection Committee and Aberdeenshire-Child-Protection-CommitteeAberdeenshire Child Protection Committee.

A North East office (now known as the Child Protection Partnership) continues to manage The Child Protection Register of behalf of Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Moray and deliver child protection Training as required by the three child protection committee partnerships.
